We are open to submissions year round, but cap submissions each quarter to the first 25 long prose manuscripts and 25 poetry manuscripts. Then we reset submissions, using a Wiccan Calendar just for fun, which changes slightly each year, on the Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Fall Equinox, and Winter Solstice.

Our staff of five senior editors take time to carefully read and evaluate each book-length manuscript. Therefore, decisions on a poetry manuscript may take less than a month whereas long prose works can require months or longer with our editors.
