ohn Glowney’s poetry has appeared in many literary journals, including Narrative, Iowa Review, 32 Poems, Shenandoah, and Tar River, among others, and in a full-length collection, Visitation (Broadstone Books, 2022), and a chapbook, “Cold-Hearted Boys,” (Main Street Rag, July 2024).
    He is a recipient of a Pushcart Prize, Poetry Northwest’s Richard Hugo Prize, and the Poetry Society of America’s Robert H. Winner Memorial Award.
    Born and raised on a small dairy farm in Michigan, he is a graduate of the University of Michigan law school, and practiced for many years in Seattle, where he presently lives.
   
   Ghosts of the Bright Light,
his debut novel, will be
published in the Spring of 2025.
