earle writes fiction and scripts. She co-wrote the feature film I’ll Show You Mine (Duplass Brothers Productions) and she wrote Lock Her Up as both a novel and a screenplay. The screenplay has won six awards as Best Thriller script and was described in Film Daily as a ‘searing thriller’ that is ‘Thelma and Louise reimagined through intersectional feminism.’ Elizabeth is the author of six books of fiction, most recently The Drama Room (“Daring plots with evocative prose and complex characters;” Kirkus Reviews).
Her feature film I’ll Show You Mine drew strong reviews in the New York Times and more; it was released in select theaters and via VOD on AmazonPrime, Peacock and more.
Her previous books include Celebrities In Disgrace (“A miniature masterpiece;” New York Times) and A Four-Sided Bed, both adapted as award-winning short films. A Four-Sided Bed was a Boston Globe Paperback bestseller and an ALA award finalist and is in development as a feature film.
Both Elizabeth’s widely performed theater work—Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera—and her feature film have drawn national media. Elizabeth teaches Fiction and Scriptwriting at Stonecoast MFA and lives near Boston.
